Rules and Regulations for Tenants
of Goshen Historic Track, Inc.

Stalls are rented to tenants irrespective of whether they are owners or trainers on a month-to-month basis. Goshen Historic Track, Inc. and its Board of Directors shall not be liable for any damage resulting to the undersigned, his agent, or employees, his horses or other property, for any reason whatsoever, while the undersigned is on or using the facilities of Goshen Historic Track, Inc.

  • Minimal stall rentals are five (5). Option of one (1) unit for tack/feed at the discretion of Goshen Historic Track.
  • The undersigned agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Goshen Historic Track, Inc. and the Board of Directors from any damage, liability or cost resulting from any act done or not done by the undersigned, his agents, or employees while he is on or using the facilities of Goshen Historic Track, Inc.
  • Coggins Certificates must be updated yearly and on file at the Track Office for all horses stabled at Goshen Historic Track.
  • Security deposits are required for each stall rented at Goshen Historic Track. The security is $100 per stall. Advance payment of one (1) month rental is also required. Security deposited will be returned, with no interest, when stalls are vacated and cleaned. Reasonable wear and tear excepted.
  • Rent is to be paid by the 15th of each month.
  • Upon leaving, the undersigned agrees to pay any unpaid balance in full to Goshen Historic Track, Inc. A good credit rating will enable a tenant to return. Any tenant that leaves owing Goshen Historic Track, Inc. will not be permitted to return.
  • All horse trailers not being used must be parked in the Paddock area near the Cox Barn. All other vehicles are to be parked next to building as close as possible so not to interfere with drive thru traffic. A fire lane must be available at all times.
  • The speed limit of drive thru traffic is 5 mph at all times.
  • Smoking, cooking, drinking of alcoholic beverages and heaters are not allowed in the barn areas or stalls by order of the Goshen Fire District.
  • No subletting or assignment of stalls is allowed.
    When jogging horses please use the outside half of the track. The inside half of the track is used for training purposes only.
  • Horses must be identified by name and stall number at the Track Office. If any change is made, please notify office immediately.
  • Please observe safety rules. Helmets must be worn at all times on the track.
  • There will be no nighttime use of the track for jogging or training.
  • Goshen Historic Track is a seven (7) day a week training facility. Sundays the track will close at 2:00 p.m. There will be no maintenance to the track on Sundays.
  • Winter track hours are 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Washing machines are not permitted at Goshen Historic Track.
  • Washing of cars, trucks, or trailers at Goshen Historic Track is not permitted.
  • No private or personal telephones will be installed on the property of Goshen Historic Track.
  • Any individual(s) found misusing the property of Goshen Historic Track or other tenants will be evicted and/or subject to criminal and civil prosecution.
  • Use of the track is subject to the rules and regulations of Goshen Historic Track.
  • Goshen Historic Track reserves the right to reject use of the premises to any individual(s) violating the Track rules and regulations or for practicing standards not satisfactory to track management.
  • Manure must be deposited in designated areas provided.
  • Children must be supervised at all times.
  • Bicycles are not allowed on the track.
  • Any animal on the Track property that interferes with the horses stabled and/ or training at Goshen Historic Track will be removed.
  • Unlicensed vehicles are not allowed on the grounds.
  • There may be occasions when tenants need to vacate their stalls. Goshen Historic Track will work with the tenant to make the move amiable.

I, the undersigned acknowledge that I have received a copy of the Rules and Regulations of Goshen Historic Track, Inc. and have had an opportunity to review same, understand the contents of same, and agree to abide by and comply with the various requirements set forth therein.
